Mr JOSEPH LATIGE

Mr. Joseph Latige of Oakdale, LA was born February 13,1947 in Fenton, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Adam and Louvenia Latige.
Mr. Joseph Latige was a logger and a faithful employee of Tallie Perkins Logging Company for many years.
Mr. Joseph was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 6, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, he was 70 years old. Joseph was proceeded in death by his parents, three sisters, Shirley Latige, Barbara Lee Latige, Marie Latige and two brothers, Adam Latige and Ervin Latige.
Mr. Joseph Latige leaves to mourn his passing his loving and devoted companion, Jackie S. Latige, four sons, Mark (Angie) Spencer of Washington, D.C., Joseph Spencer of Baton Rouge, LA, Jacques and Thomas Spencer both of Oakdale, LA, two brothers, Richard Latige, Frank (Wilma) Latige, three sisters, Judy Johnson, Patricia (Mack) Johnson, Dorothy (Walter) Dennis, 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren a host of other loving family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Oakdale's Lion Club on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. followed by a Homegoing Celebration beginning at 1:00 p.m. A burial service will follow at the Oakdale Community Cemetery.
