Miss Kennedy Obituary
Miss Zaria M. Kennedy of Nederland, Tx was born June 27, 2001 in Galveston, Texas to her loving parents, Christopher L. Green and Shalisha S. Kennedy.
Zaria was apart of the UIL team, and the key club where she did charitable work. Zaria also maintained a high GPA of 3.8 while attending Nederland High School in Nederland, TX., while doing this she also dual enrolled taking college courses as a Jr. in high school. In additions to her education and community service, Zaria worked at S&M, a factory outlet store. She was a faithful member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Beaumont, Tx.
Miss Zaria was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 14, 2018 at the Southeast Texas Medical Center, she was 16 years old.
Zaria Kennedy leaves to mourn her passing her loving parents, Christopher L. Green of Seattle, WA, and Shalisha S. Kennedy of Nederland, Tx, three sisters, three brothers her maternal grandmother Maxine Kennedy, her paternal grandmother Mary Ceaser, and a host of other loving Jones, Green, & Guillory family members and friends.
A visitation will be held at Rising Star Baptist Church Officiating Rev. Jesse Granvle on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. followed by a Homegoing Celebration beginning at 11:00 a.m. A burial service will follow at the Oakdale Community Cemetery in Oakdale, La. Miss Zaria Kennedy services were entrusted to: Evins, Larry, and Perry Family Funeral Home, 412 Canady St. Oakdale, LA.
